First of all we'd like to send our deepest condolences to the Burns family and to the WRC team from Dave and Ros in Northamptonshire.
We've been into Rallying since we were older nough to say car, which for me wasn't to long. My favourites are Richard, McRae & Solberg. Favourite Cars were Subaru, Focus, Peugeot & the Skoda.
But Richard Burns sadly lost a battle with cancer. Two years after a brain tumor ended his WRC career, the Subaru enthusiast community raised millions in his name for cancer research. Now, Subaru is kicking in with a memorial of its own for the once Subaru World Rally Team star. So Subaru has come up with this 'limited edition' Impreza WRX STi, which gets some tweaks from motorsports technology firm *Prodrive*. Including a performance pack that boosts horsepower to 316 at 6,000 rpm and torque to 332 lbft at 3,700 rpm. The RB320 comes in Obsidian Black only with 18" alloy wheels and a Prodrive tuned suspension kit of Bilstein dampers, a sporting spring kit and rear anti roll bar. Ride height's been lowered by 30 mm in the front and 10 mm at the rear. Each car in the numbered series also includes a chrome mesh grille, front lip spoiler, shift kit, sill plates and branded interior features. But only A limited number of buyers will get their cars at a track day launch event on Prodrive's test track in Warwickshire, UK. The RB320 will cost £29,995, or £3,500 over the base STi version. And reduces the 0-60 mph time to 4.8 seconds with a 0-100 mph time of just 12.2 seconds. And those customers placing early orders with deposits will be offered a limited number of places at a special RB320 launch event next March at Prodrive's test track in Warwickshire. Also the first car is to be given away in a special raffle organised by Autosport magazine, donated by Subaru themselfs. And all the proceeds will go to the Richard Burns Foundation which helps those suffering from serious injurys and illness's. And Subarus rally ace, Richard Burns is also the holder of the FIA World Rally Championship driver's title.
And above are the Subarus he drove, with 1 of many tracks. Again our many condolences.

The latest Audi RS4 doesnt need A turbocharger to generate some dizzying power figures. Some have come to understand that the side effects of such huge power outputs can rather ruin the overall balance of a sports car, while others have only recently accepted this wisdom. With the latest RS4, Audi hope to marry power and control in one irresistible package.Thats the theory in any case. Sceptics will point to the fact that theres still a heavy eight cylinder engine sitting up front that will hurt handling subtlety, that the car adds the weight of an eleven stone passenger to that of a BMW M3, and that Audis ace card their DSG gearbox isnt beefy enough to cope with the RS4s power output. However, before you write the £50,000 RS4 off as just another ill conceived autobahn car, its worth considering the following. The rather unsubtle turbocharging has been ditched, replaced by a normally aspirated engine that revs to 8,250rpm and generates a monstrous 414bhp. A re engineered 4WD system deploys that power better than ever and more is routinely directed to the rear wheels, which promises to excise the stodgy understeer from the quattro drivetrain. Lower, wider and utilising aluminium body panels to keep weight down, the RS4 could well give BMW something very serious to think about.Audi have finally accepted that performance car buyers want subtlety and feel as well as big horsepower figures. The RS4 is the first Audi to feature their high speed engine principle which means that rather than concentrating on low down slugging power, the engine has the sort of wail more reminiscent of a competition car in the upper reaches of the rev range. Driving an old RS4 demonstrates the difference very effectively. The end result is a car that will accelerate through 60mph in 4.6 seconds and on to 125mph in just 16.6. A gentle electronic limiter draws a close on this headlong rush at 155mph. The gearing and power suggests that without this limiter, 180mph would be fairly easily achievable. The lack of a turbocharger means that there isnt the same savage punch the old RS4 could generate at very low revs, but Audi insiders claim the mid range and top end urge of the RS4 means that on the open road and track it is quite simply in a different league. To get some idea of the thrust available, consider the fact that at 251bhp per tonne, the RS4 contrives to make BMWs M3, with 215bhp per tone, seem rather underpowered. Where BMW has traditionally had Audis measure is when it comes to the sort of handling subtlety valued by those who really know cars. Communication, adjustability, directness and linearity of response have all been areas where Audi have often been a notch off the best in class but the Ingolstadt company has made great strides which change that with the latest RS4. One area that has been a perennial Audi complaint is braking performance. While outright braking power has never been questioned, the sort of repeated braking manoeuvres often required for track driving played havoc with the old RS4s stoppers, promoting fade and warping the discs terribly. The latest car features improved cooling and floating discs that help prevent fading. Eight piston callipers on the front wheels grip enormous 365 millimetre discs. A new generation of quattro permanent fourwheel drive features an asymmetric /dynamic distribution of power and torque.More flexible than before, this aids grip, agility and speed of response. The old 50:50 normal torque split has been revised in favour of a more exciting 40:60 arrangement between front and rear axles, resulting in a car that feels more like a rear wheel drive sports car while still offering excellent traction. DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) features a central valve connected to all four dampers to offer excellent body control during acceleration, cornering and braking. Despite all this work under the skin, many will still be sold on the 18 inch alloy wheels, the mean stance, the spoiler kit, the flared arches and racy interior detailing. Many of these same customers will never have a clue what DRC is, what their torque split is, or will even know that theres a whole world to be explored beyond 5,000rpm.
The next generation M3 is the first V8 engined 3 Series, and offers 400 bhp so expect it to race from 0 100 km/h in a fraction over five seconds, and go on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h. Power will be fed to the rear wheels via a six speed manual gearbox or the latest SMG sequential manual, possibly with seven ratios. The new car should maintain the M3's reputation for outstanding handling. The V8 will be more compact than the current in line six cylinder model, while a longer wheelbase will help with weight distribution. Externally, the car takes many cues from the M5, with twin exit exhausts, front wing vents and discreet 'M' badges, while the look of the all new 3 Series means an aggressive nose and deeply sculpted flanks. Expect to see the M3 in showrooms at the end of the year,(2006). It will come in saloon, coupe, cabrio and estates.
And the next Blog will be called (Toyota's Green Highlander)

Hi and Welcome, wow who wouldn't have a Chevy on there drive...I would. And they have a good range of models too, and they are the Half ton, Hybrid, SS, 1500hd, 2500hd, & 3500.
Now i'm going to talk about the safety on this geart Car, as i fill with it being winter now its important and overall that everyone who's driving a vehicle should no how safe they really are. Your'll be surprised that this Car is very well Equiped, and with it's size i wouldn't worry.
Antilock Brake System (ABS)All the Silverado models come equipped with a standard four wheel antilock brake system . ABS is a crash avoidance feature that helps prevent wheel lockup during braking in most slippery road conditions. The brakes also include Dynamic Rear Proportioning, which regulates front and rear brake pressure to optimize performance under varying load conditions.
Front Air Bags With Passenger Sensing System.Driver and right front passenger dual stage front air bags are just another way that the Silverado covers you in a 360 degrees of safety. They are designed to supplement the safety belt system in the event of a frontal collisions. Dual stage air bags sense the severity of a crash and determine if the air bags should be deployed and whether a full or less than full amount of inflation will be used.
The standard Passenger Sensing System automatically switches the right front passenger front air bag on or off based on the passenger's weight and the type of pressure on the seat.
StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System.StabiliTrak helps the Silverado surround you in 360 degrees of safety. This system helps improve vehicle stability & particularly during emergency maneuvers. The system, standard on Crew Cab models a GM exclusive and available on selected Extended Cab models, also includes Proactive Roll Avoidance, which reduces the risk of a rollover. Here’s how StabiliTrak works.>>The StabiliTrak control module compares your steering input with the truck’s actual response and then, if necessary, makes small individual brake applications to enhance control and keep you on track.StabiliTrak automatically intervenes when it senses loss of lateral traction (sideslip), understeer (plowing) or oversteer (fishtailing). In these situations, the system applies brake pressure and,if necessary adjusts engine torque to help the driver get the vehicle back on track.
Tyre Pressure Monitor. This standard system monitors the inflation level of each of the four road tyres. This information is passed to the Driver Information Center (DIC), which can display the readout of each individual tyre pressure (excludes spare tire). However, if any tire falls below a specified pressure, the driver is immediately alerted via a message in the DIC. (So this should reduce ware and tear and even a handfull of breakdowns).
Safety Cage.A safety cage with enhanced body side structure, rigidity and strength provides added protection in cases of front or side impact. Underbody reinforcements, including a diagonal reinforcement under the front footwells, reduce deformation and transfer of energy into the passenger compartment. Straighter, high-strength steel front frame rails, and more efficient chassis design with features such crush management indents and strategically located reinforcements improve crash dynamics resulting in additional crush space and enhanced energy management.
Safety Belt Pretensioners.Silverado's safety belts are improved and are matched to the trucks design, as well as belt pretensioning with new energy management retractors (EMRs). In front impacts severe enough to deploy the front air bags, the pretensioners will also deploy and reduce the slack in the safety belt, while the EMRs will manage the energy of the belt and gradually unwind it in order to limit the force of the belt on the occupant's body. Additionally, in severe enough rear impacts the pretensioners will also deploy and reduce the slack in the safety belt.
Head Curtain & Side Impact Air Bags.Available head curtain side impact air bags help reduce the risk of injuries to all outboard occupants in certain side impacts. Deployed upon sensing a rollover, side impact or second stage frontal impact, these air bags cover the first and second rows of Crew and Extended Cab models, or the driver and outboard passenger of Regular Cab models. Plus, they are designed to stay inflated for up to six seconds to help reduce the risk of ejection in the unlikely event of a rollover.
OnStar.OnStar with a one year Safe & Sound Plan provides you with 24hour access to helpful Advisors who can assist in a variety of situations. Vehicle Diagnostics checks are some of your vehicle’s key systems, such as your engine, air bags and antilock brakes, while you drive. You’ll receive an automatic email report once a month that includes your current mileage, remaining oil life, maintenance alerts and many more. And new Turn by Turn Navigation, included with the available Directions & Connections Plan & gives you simple step by step voice guided instructions on how to get to your next destination. Push the OnStar button, and you’ll never have to stop and ask for directions. With the Advanced Automatic Crash Notification (AACN), an OnStar Advisor will attempt to contact you, inquiring whether or not you need assistance. If you’re unable to answer, the Advisor will contact a nearby emergency services provider who will dispatch help to your determined location.

SEATThe Bolero is a sports-style saloon, which blends the spirit of the avant garde sports car with the stirring beauty of the unforgettable GT. lines of the Bolero was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1998 which represents a statement of intent for the design of future Seat models. The severe features of its waist line and central section contrast with the soft contours of its interior, which provides all the space of a family car.The concept of the Bolero contains such valuable elements as ride comfort, the highest equipment level and proven safety, all coupled with an engine unit brimming with controlled energy. The 2.8l V6 engine with 330 bhp (242 kw) & with two turbochargers, stands for bi-turbo delights & the driver performance up to the standard of the best sports cars and the control which is provided by the Sportronic gearshift system, and permanent four wheel drive. There is an aesthetic contrast between the rounded contours of the interior and the pronounced front end, which reaches its peak when you open both doors. The experts from the Mediterranean brand belonging to the Volkswagen Group have broken new ground in eliminating the central pillar...(B pillar). The Bolero 330bt is a study for a sports type family cars suitable for every day use by four adults. Its particular features include the larger size wheels, which lend strength to Seat's pioneering concept. The 19 inch alloy wheel rims have low profile tyres 255/40. They are the wheels of a very powerful machine suitable for fast driving in all conditions. The sports origins allow a large braking system to be fitted, enabling safe control of the bi-turbo engine's 330 bhp.Seat's study offers solutions to all questions of road holding and stability with effective means, such as permanent four wheel drive which distributes the torque from the V6 bi-turbo between the two axles safely and effectively. The Sportronic gearshift system adapts to suit the driver's personal preferences and the road conditions. And come with a 5 speed sportronic.SAABIn its quest to make Saab into a profitable division and give its dealers and customers more choice, General Motors has added the Saab 9-7X to its lineup. The 9-7X is Saab's first truck based SUV, and the first ever Saab available with a V8 engine. The Saab 9-7X is built in Moraine, Ohio, on the same truck platform as the Chevy Trailblazer, & the Gmc Envoy. However, it's been given a Swedish massage inside, outside and underneath. We think the 9-7X may be the best execution of this solid truck platform to date. The combination of good looks, Saabesque design cues, improved handling and ride quality, with reasonable power and fuel economy make the new Saab 9-7X worth a long look. Inside, it's thoroughly Saab like, nicely finished and comfortable. The 9-7X is built on the shorter of the two wheelbases used for the Gmt 360 platform. It rides lower and the chassis is a bit stiffer than the other GM models, and comes with a retuned suspension and bigger brakes.Overall, the Saab 9-7X offers a lot of value for $40,000, which comes in the form of luxury and safety features, both active and passive. Among them: six airbags, all wheel drive, electronic stability control. & Leather upholstery is standard.A superb inline six-cylinder engine comes standard. A more powerful V8 is optional. Saab says major competitors will include the Volvo XC90 and theJeep Grand Cherokee, both of these are excellent SUVs. We suspect Saab's new truck will also compete with GM's in house brands. The 2006 Saab 9-7X is available in six-cylinder and V8 versions, delineated and distinguished by displacement badges on the decklids and wheel/tire combinations. That's it. No other trim levels, no other external differentiation, which we count as a blessing. The V8 version makes it a powerful engine, good for towing up to 6500 pounds, and a limited slip rear differential as standard equipment.Safety features that come standard on both versions includes six airbags.. front, side-impact for torso protection, and side curtain for head protection. Also standard is all-wheel drive, StabiliTrak yaw control, anti lock disc brakes, rollover sensing, child seats, knee bolsters, canine restraints and other safety features. Saab owners have come to expect that theres a new daddy comming to our shorooms very soon.

The Child Seat Law Explained >>
From Spring 2006, the proposed law requires that all children have to use a restraint appropriate for their size and will no longer be able to use an adult seat belt alone in the front or rear seats, if under a certain height. The new legislation proposes the following key changes, enforced from 18th September 2006.All children under 3 years old must use an appropriate child restraint when travelling in a car or goods vehicle (except in a taxi if a child seat is not available)Children between 3 years and up to 12 years (or up to 135cms, approximately 4'5" in height), must use a child restraint appropriate for their size when travelling in a car or goods vehicles fitted with seat belts (few exceptions are permitted)Rear facing baby seats must not be used in seats with an active front air-bagAll child restraints must conform to modern safety standards, meaning UN-ECE Regulation 44.04 from May 2008.

Firstly the Bentley:>>>>>>
The door handles and ignition system on the Bentley Continental GT will recognise the signal sent from the integrated key (as long as it is on your person). When next to the door, the door handle will unlock automatically.Once in the car, the engine can also be started, by pushing the console-mounted start button. Turning the ignition off again is also simple, by pushing the stop/start button. The car can then be locked again by depressing the exterior door handle. The driver can operate and adjust almost all of the key driving and entertainment systems via this console. The system operates:* DVD Satellite Navigation system with route guidance* Hi-fi system* TV Tuner (where available)* Electronic climate control* Suspension and ride height adjustment* Mobile telephone controls* On-board computer controls* Set the timer of the park heater (where fitted)The throttles, fuel injection, twin turbochargers and ignition are controlled by the sophisticated engine management system. Full electronic control of the six speed automatic transmission, air suspension and continuous all-wheel drive combine to provide the immediate feedback. Steering, suspension and chassis work together in absolute harmony, while intelligent under-the-skin technology monitors and fine-tunes every aspect of your driving experience.Bentley also carry out 4 courses: 1.chauffeur / owner driver course... 2.personal... 3.driving dynamics... 4.defensive courses? And now for the Aston:>>>>>>
The fastest road car in the history of Aston Martin. A car that fuses hand-crafted tradition with the highest calibre of automotive technology. Appropriately it is our flagship car - the Vanquish S is the ultimate Aston Martin.Despite the high-technology specifications, the Vanquish S is built in the same manner as all other Aston Martins before it, one at a time & by hand. An individual craftsman takes responsibility for the creation of every single car.In preparation for production of the Vanquish, the factory at Newport Pagnell, received a multi-million-pound refurbishment that included an all-new assembly line, paint shop, rolling road and water test facility, which simulates monsoon conditions to ensure a watertight interior. Today, technicians who used to hold old-fashioned welding guns now wield dual-feed adhesive guns to bond together composite components, crash structures and aluminium panels. An Aston Martin, especially the ultimate Aston Martin, needs to delight its driver like no other car. It needs fast, predictable handling, and superb road holding. It needs to thrill, yet never surprise. The Vanquish S is one of the best handling and most predictable cars in the World. It communicates to the driver with utmost faithfulness, and yet with total entertainment. The key to its nimbleness, and predictability, is its light yet massively stiff body structure. Nothing dulls performance like weight. The lower the weight, the sharper the response. No great athlete is overweight. Nor is a truly great sports car. The aerospace-style body structure also imparts superb torsional strength, much greater than a conventional steel body. So the car stays in shape, no matter what the conditions. And boy are these cars fast check-out these statisticks:>>>>
